Planning Phase

Scrupulous planning of Sandgate Train Station was essential for success. The project was to be completed at a fast-pace, involving phasic trades and public area construction. Safety, timing, skill and careful planning were indispensable.

Taylor Made Electrical worked closely with a diverse range of trades. This meant excellent communication, workmanship, and industry expertise were key to success.

Project Completion

This project was completed in 2016. We have since completed many Queensland Rail upgrades in collaboration with Hutchinson Builders.

Planning the project was detailed, meticulous and required impeccable communication between all trades, managers, and entities involved in the multi-million dollar project upgrade.

Building measurements

Our company has up-to-date technology and programs to ensure building measurements are accurate and compatible with safety regulations and Queensland legislation; imperative to QLD Rail.

Required timeframe

We were required to complete this project within a 12-month timeframe.

How it worked

Project outcome

Sandgate Station is one of the busiest train stations on the north side of Brisbane residing by Moreton Bay. The completed station now allows all people to have safe access to all parts of the station and its connections to alternative transport.

Taylor Made Electrical supported this project upgrade by working on all lighting and electrical works. These tasks were executed with the highest of quality and integrity, something we pride ourselves on.

This upgrade was vital for Brisbane residents in the Northern Suburbs to access Brisbane city with increased convenience. Local businesses and tourism will be able to embrace the new standing train station upgrade and hopefully, enjoy their trips to the bay or northern suburbs with a little more joy!
